Position: Executive Director

DESCRIPTION:

The Executive Director is the administrative director for the center and is responsible for all daily operations including, treatment program oversight, financial management, and staff management. Must have the ability to develop and lead an effective team. The Executive Director oversees center staff to ensure client service excellence. The Executive Director works closely with the VP, Client Care to communicate, and hold accountable, the center staff in order to meet the business and client care objectives.

Position: Full Time Licensed Therapist

LOCATION: Shadow Mountain Recovery, Albuquerque
QUALIFICATIONS:

A master’s degree in counseling, psychology or social work. The candidate will possess New Mexico license (LMSW, LCSW , LISW, LPCC or LMHC) and experience working with individuals with Substance Use and/or mental health Disorders. Computer and Electronic Health Records proficiency required.

Position: Primary Therapist

LOCATION: Shadow Mountain Recovery Day Treatment /IOP Colorado Springs, CO
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: A master’s degree in counseling, psychology or social work. The candidate will possess Colorado license (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT), and CAC II or above, or at least 5 years of experience working with individuals with Substance Use and/or mental health Disorders. Computer and Electronic Health Records proficiency required. Valid Colorado driver’s license and must have access to transportation during work hours.
Desired:  Experience in the treatment of substance use disorders, including family work and trauma informed care in a complex setting and knowledge of trauma resolution techniques such as EMDR.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction and supervision of Clinical Director/Program Director
  • Provide daily programming as required in Day Treatment, Transition, IOP, and Family Programming, which includes intakes and assessments as well as individual, group, family and psychoeducational counseling;
  • Communicate with families regarding the treatment of the clients as well as provide counseling, coaching and mentorship to the families with serve;
  • Develop proficient in presenting SMR curriculum and treatment philosophy for Day Treatment, Transition, IOP, and Family programming;
  • Willing to join on occasion in experiential/recreational activities;
  • Maintains caseload of clients providing:
    • 2 weekly individual therapy sessions for Day Treatment (DT) clients and 1 weekly session for Intensive Outpatient (IOP) clients.
    • 1 bi-weekly Family Counseling call for each DT client, 1 Family Counseling call after transition or admission to IOP family within 3 business days, and 1 call monthly thereafter until discharge
    • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record;
    • Facilitate several groups weekly
  • Seek supervision from Clinical Director regarding client care in which additional direction/information is needed
  • Attend weekly clinical staffing to review client progress and other clinical concerns
  • Weekly participation in general staff meetings and trainings
  • Completion of all documentation required for insurance billing and client service accountability on a timely manner
  • Maintains current licensure and certifications as required by the state.
  • Use RMI Time clock software to record hours worked.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and current Colorado RN; Valid Colorado driver’s license and must have access to transportation during work hours. Must be proficient with Computers and experience working with Electronic Health Records and Electronic Prescribing.
Desired:  Experience in the treatment of substance use disorders and psychiatric/mental health in a complex setting such as a detox, urgent care or ED, and knowledge of the use of medications to treat substance use and other mental health disorders. Additional certifications are highly desirable: CPR, ACLS, and IV certified.

  • Calls in prescriptions & follow-up on refills, etc;
  • Orders lab work & reviews need for immediate attention on the doctor’s behalf;
  • Participates in staffing’s;
  • Consults and works closely with treating medical professional;
  • Does basic blood pressures, temperatures, weight monitoring, etc;
  • Takes the shift lead and assigns tasks to co-workers to insure the smooth operation of the shift; and
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Medical Director/Program Director within the scope of the position.

Position: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

LOCATION: Shadow Mountain Recovery Detox Center
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: NP or PA Degree from an accredited institution and currently licensed to practice in Colorado; valid Colorado driver’s license and must have access to transportation during work hours. Must be proficient with Computers and experience working with Electronic Health Records.

Desired:  Experience in the treatment of substance use disorders and psychiatric/mental health in a complex setting, such as ER, urgent care or detox unit. Knowledge of medications used to treat substance use disorders, both in acute detox situations and chronic care medication management, experience and treatment other mental health disorders is helpful. Additional certifications are highly desirable: CPR, ACLS certified or willing to certify once employed. Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants with the desire and/or experience to practice in this setting are encouraged to apply.

  • Provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, outcome identification, and treatment follow-up in a medical detox unit.
  • Provide direct/indirect patient care and serve as a resource for staff and physicians relevant medically and clinically directed pharmacotherapy.
  • Manage the ongoing clients medical needs in an appropriate manner by integrating advanced education, research, management, leadership, consultation and clinical role.
  • Initiate, direct, and coordinate ordering and interpretation of laboratory and other investigative studies as appropriate.

Position: Addictions Technician

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: An experience professional in the medical/ER setting holding credentials such EMT, LPN; Valid Colorado driver’s license and must have access to transportation during work hours. Must be proficient with Computers and experience working with Electronic Health Records.
Desired:  Experience working with substance use disorders and psychiatric/mental health in a complex medical settings and/or experience working in an ER and other acute units. Additional certifications are highly desirable: CPR, ACLS, and IV certified.

  • Performs accurate, timely and ethical documentation at all times, including admissions and discharges, inventories and screening of clients’ personal belongings, and documenting of all significant interactions with individual clients;
  • Monitors/observes Urinalysis or Breathalyzer tests as needed and documents appropriately;
  • Monitors and documents client vital signs, physical condition, and behaviors as part of the program structure;
  • Supports medical staff as needed;
  • Performs documentation using Electronic Health Record;
  • Monitors the facility to insure it is maintained and in orderly manner as well as review the security protocols of the facility;
  • Disposes of biohazard waste according to OSHA standards;
  • Practices OSHA safety standards and universal precautions;

  • Transport clients to the hospital or other approved services as directed by medical and program personnel.
