Our detox center in St. George, Utah is specifically designed to provide you or a loved one heal from the destructive pattern of substance dependency. The Shadow Mountain ideology is based on a holistic alternative to the traditional 12-step model of addiction recovery. Our treatment methods are different, and focus on evidence-based modalities, family relations, and a holistic approach to recovery.
At Shadow Mountain St. George Rehabilitation Center, we believe that it is fundamentally important to treat addiction with a holistic approach, incorporating your heart, mind, body, and spirit. Our therapeutic techniques and approaches are designed to primarily utilize evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, in order to correct harmful thought patterns. We also use other curriculum, such as our SMART Recovery, which uses the common sense self-help procedures that have been backed by science, or the Refuge Recovery Program, modeled off of Buddhist principles.
